Laars Teledyne and Raypak are the heaters of choice. With the correct choice for the   application, a quality and accurate installation with the neccessary precautions taken when installing, along with properly maintained water chemistry, these two brands of heaters will provide many years of trouble-free pool-heating service. Heaters can be provided with fuel source requirements ranging from natural-gas to propane, or oil fired to electrical.  Generally, heater output (Btu) determines the price of the heater, which can range from $1800.00 - $3800.00. Although not manufactured by Laars Teledyne or Raypak, solar heaters are available as an alternative, for economical and ecologically freindly aspirations. There are very good quality versions of solar heaters manufactured in the USA that are available.

 Pentair whisperflo, (pictured) and Hayward make exceptionally good quality durable swimming pool pumps, best suited for the New England weather conditions and chemistry fluctuations. The pumps vary in power from the smaller 3/4 HP pumps to the more powerful 3 HP pumps. Pool pump prices range from approximately $300.00 for the most basic to well over $1000.00 for high HP vari-flo pumps with multiple features.                                                                                                                  

Pentair and Aqua-Rite salt activated chlorine generators are supplied and fitted. Pentair and Aqua-Rite both produce excellent quality chlorine generators, they are committed to research and development and provide the best service and parts back up. They also arrange exceptionally well presented seminars for distributors and service technicians to attend, which enables the swimming pool service companies to recommend, market and install their products without reservation.

Their are multiple versions and applications of these generators available, ranging from $4500.00+ computer controlled systems to less than $3000.00 systems that are basic, fully effective and a lot quicker to install. (These prices are including the fitting and installation of the generator, and the adding of the +/_ 800lb's of salt)
